Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi loses Rs 75,000 in an online scam, files police complaint

Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi recently became a victim of an online scam and lost  Rs 75,000 as a result. Apparently, the actor placed his Pune flat for sale at the cost of 87 lakhs. Following the same, he was contacted by an interested buyer who identified himself as Aditya Kumar. Over the phone calls, a clever con man managed to win the trust of the actor. Not just by sharing his documents but he even shared photos of himself in an army uniform and with his continuous willingness to buy the property, managed to get the actor in his scam.

Post the same, Rakesh got scammed and lost Rs 75,000 to the conman. The actor was quick to realize the truth after the phone of the person went unreachable after the same. 

He has now filed a complaint in Oshiwara Police station and has shared in one of the reports that the reason he has turned to be a victim of the same is due to his previous positive experience of selling property to the army personnel. The actor also expressed his regret believing the scam and facing the loss due to the same reason.
