Ranveer Singh’s Simmba completed 5 years today. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film also starred Sara Ali Khan. It was a part of the filmmaker's grand cop universe which started with Ajay Devgn's Singham in 2011.
Ranveer's blockbuster cop film Simmba has been the highest-grosser in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe. The worldwide collection of the drama was Rs. 400.19 crores whereas the film did a business of Rs. 240.31 crores in India.
Rohit brought back the character, Simmba, in Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi in 2021. Ranveer had a cameo along with Ajay Devgn. He will be reprising the role in Ajay's Singham Again which is releasing in 2024.
