Ankita Lokhande took part in a popular reality show Bigg Boss 17 along with her husband Vicky Jain and has been making to headlines quite often mostly for her statements about the late actor and her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. In one of the recent episodes, the actress once again went on to talk about the actor, highlighting that he was a very hardworking person. Ankita shared that although his films MS Dhoni was delayed by 2 years, he still kept on practicing.
As she was talking to one of the contestants of the show, Abhishek Malhan. She said, "Sushant wanted to venture into films, and I was confident that he'd be able to pull it off, and he did. People used to make fun of him, but I motivated him. I gave him that strength and belief. And when it happened, it was surreal. I remember crying at the screening of 'Kai Po Che'. He was very talented and hardworking."
Talking about the delay of his film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Ankita continued, "He was very hardworking. I have seen his hard work. His movie, MS Dhoni, was delayed, but he practiced cricket for two years. Even after finishing partying at 6 am, he used to go directly to the cricket ground while I used to go to sleep. He was always on the cricket ground."
She further added that she even visited the house of the cricketer MS Dhoni with him and met his wife Sakshi too along with the actor.
Ankita and Sushant were together for 7 years. Sushant was found dead in his apartment on June 14 of 2020.
