Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan Season 8 is currently trending and the 5^th episode of the show has finally released that featured the SOTY duo Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. Alia Bhatt who debuted with the actors in the same film also made a special appearance during the show with a pre- recorded video turning the episode into a complete Student of the Year cast reunion.

During the conversation, the filmmaker Karan went on to share the reaction of Alia when he confirmed her for the film and added about the first question that the actress asked after it.

Karan said, “When I went to the van and told her that she’s on (confirmed in the film), and then I said ‘I’m directing the film’. She burst out crying and the first thing she said is ‘Can I eat a cupcake’?”

Hosted by Karan, the 5^th episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8 released on November 23 and is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
