Fake! Akshay Kumar’s viral videos supporting Palestine is manipulated

Among other actors, Akshay Kumar too has  expressed his views regarding the Israel-Palestine war. In an interview with the news channel Times Now in October, Akshay  condemned "terrorism" and the killing of civilians.
"Any kind of terrorism is wrong," he quoted. "Killing is not the answer."

However, a few clips of the actor have surfaced in which he can be seen extending his support to Palestine. The videos became viral in no time after being uploaded on YouTube on October 10 and were mostly shared across India and Pakistan.

One of the doctored videos shows the actor wearing a black cap, where in Hindi he can be heard commenting, "What is happening with the Palestinians is not right. It is wrong."

"Stop the cruelty inflicted on Palestine," reads Urdu text overlaid on the video. In the second second clip, Palestinian flag is superimposed on Akshay's face.

However, fact check is, the actual videos were uploaded by the actor back in the year of 2020 where he talked about the drugs accusation in Bollywood. The other video was posted to Akshay's Instagram in August this year and shows him promoting the film OMG 2

In none of the videos, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is mentioned.
