One can’t violate the law for cheap publicity says Mumbai Police after Uorfi Javed’s fake arrest video goes viral, offical case registered

Uorfi Javed’s name makes it to headlines way often as she is known for experimenting with her wardrobe and coming up with creative ideas.  But this time, her experiments took a different path leading to a trouble for the influencer. Yesterday in the afternoon, a viral video of Uorfi getting arrested surfaced on the internet. In the video, Uorfi is seen coming out of the café as two female cops come over and ask her to proceed with them. As she walks towards the car, and 3 of them sit in it, the car leaves and the video ends.

Although some considered it a prank, many netizens believed it to be true. Following the same Mumbai police has reacted to the fake video as it became viral. Calling it a cheap publicity stunt, they have posted a screen grab of the video with the caption on their Instagram account that mentioned about the video being fake, the misuse of the uniform and also informed that the case has been registered on the grounds of misleading content, the pretending inspectors have been arrested and the vehicle shown in the video has also been seized.
