You're not really concerned about the issue: Anurag Kashyap calls Yashica Dutt an opportunist, defends makers of Made In Heaven 2

One of the much-anticipated series Made in Heaven 2 released on August 10 and received massive appreciation. From the stellar cast to storytelling, the wait for the second season was worth it. But all that glitters ain't gold. Amidst all the glory, Yashica Dutt,  a renowned Dalit author claimed that the makers have used her work in MIH2 without providing the credits.

Now filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is known to give his fearless take on such matters have spoke up. Ironically, Anurag is also a part of MIH2 but in the capacity of an actor and he is also a staunch supporter and friend of Neeraj Ghayawan, who episode is the root cause of Yashica's issues.

Anurag, who is currently promoting his next, Haddi, during the interviews, defended MIH2 makers and called Yashica's claims baseless. The filmmaker commented, "Is this really that big of an issue? It's a very debatable issue. Anybody can debate. If it's really that big an issue then why are you attacking that other person, who before you said that I use this word? Then you're looking for validation, then you're not really concerned about the issue. Because then you can't be two-sided. You're also attacking this guy, and you're attacking the guy who before you said something in a blog. So you are just looking for validation. For me, it looks like an opportunist. Nothing more than that."

Earlier, Yashica claimed that the 5th episode of the season tited ‘The Heart skipped a beat’ which starred Radhika Apte had been inspired by the author’s life.
The episode featured Radhika in the role of Pallavi Mehnke who is a successful Dalit author and has been striving for the equality and acceptance of the people who belonged to the same caste.
