The release date of the much awaited film The Archies is finally out! Directed by Zoya Akhtar and starring Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Yuvraj Menda, Agastya Nanda and Vedang Raina in the lead, the film is all set to release on December 7 of this year on Netflix!
Beside being one of the biggest projects of the year, the film marks the highly anticipated debut of three star kids: Suhana, Agastya and Khushi. The Archies follows the story of the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton and revolves around friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion.
The cast announced the date of launch along with their director, Zoya with a live billboard on one of India’s busiest roads - Mumbai’s Western Express Highway. The billboard also has a countdown timer which tracks the number of days before the film launches on Netflix. Fans have already begun marking their calendars for this musical set in the 1960s.
The Archies is an Indian adaptation of the popular comic book with the same name. Produced by Tiger Baby Productions, the film will stream on Netflix.
