Imran Khan to make a comeback with Abbas Tyrewala's series on OTT?

Imran Khan has been on a sabbatical from Bollywood for almost a decade now. The actor recently became active on the social media which made fans wonder if he is going to be back to the industry. As he kept on dropping some hints with his comments (remember the Zeenat Aman news!), the buzz of his possible comeback has been all around.

It is rumoured that the actor is in conversation with his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na director Abbas Tyrewala regarding a spy action series for an OTT platform! Apparently,
Imran is keen to shed his chocolate boy image and will play an age-appropriate role of an intelligence officer in this yet-untitled show.

Apart from this, Imran has also been sharing the stills from his previous films on his account from the last few days, and discussing it's making process. On his Instagram stories, he also explained to his fans that he is trying to reshape the relationships with his films.

Have a look:

Imran forayed into films in 2008 and went on to be a part of a number of films like Ali Abbas Zafar's rom-com Mere Brother Ki Dulhan(2011), Shakun Batra's Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012) opposite Kareena Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013) alongside Anushka Sharma to name a few. He was last seen in Nikhil Advani’s Katti Batti in 2015.
