The 69th National Film Awards took place on August 24, 2023. And the top honours went to Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun. Kriti received the Best Actress Award for her heartwrenching performance of a surrogate mother in Mimi (jointly shared with Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi). On the other hand, Bunny aka Allu Arjun's unmatchable swagger won him the laurels for Pushpa: The Rise.
As a gesture of gratitude, Kriti took upon her Instagram account to share a post with a heartfelt note extending her regards to everyone in the film and her family. She also congratulated Alia for sharing the win with her!
