The much-awaited series Taali starring Sushmita Sen is all set to release on August 15. Sushmita will be seen essaying the role of transgender Shreegauri Sawant, chronicling her courageous journey in a biopic format.
In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, Sushmita shared an incident when her younger daughter Alisah, after watching Taali teaser, asked the actress, if she would accept her if she came out as gay!. To which, Sushmita answered that she would love and accept her the way she is.
Sushmita shared, “Alisah came to me after she watched the Taali teaser and she said, “What if I came to you one day and said I am gay, what would you do?" To which the actress replied, “I would hear you out and I‘ll love you. Your choice, your life." Alisah didn't believe and further said that the actress is lying to which Sushmita replied, "Try me". Sushmita, who is a mother to two girls, shared how beautiful it was to hear such a question from a 13-year old girl!
