YouTube Devraj Patel, known for his Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai meme, passed away in a road accident this afternoon. According to reports, he was on his way to Raipur to shoot a video. The young content creator was riding a pillion when he was hit by a truck. 

Reportedly, Devraj was returning from Nava Raipur and around 3:30 pm, he met with the accident near the Labhandih area. He suffered severe injuries to the head and other body parts. According to reports, the handle of the motorcycle hit the truck and Devraj came under the rear wheel of the vehicle. 

In a statement, Civil Lines CSP Manoj Dhruv, told, "Devraj Patel died after he was hit by a truck. He suffered severe injuries to the head and other body parts. The accident took place in Raipur. The truck driver has been detained. Devraj's friend was also on the bike, he sustained injuries. Bike rider Rakesh Manhar, who escaped unhurt in the accident, called up an ambulance following which Patel was shifted to a hospital where he was declared dead."

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel offered condolence. He tweeted, "Devraj Patel, who made his place among crores of people with “Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai,” is not among us today. The loss of the amazing talent at this young age is very sad. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to bear this loss. Om Shanti."
