Earlier this month, international media was set ablaze with rumours of Diljit Dosanjh getting 'touchy' with Taylor Swift at Cactus Club Cafe Coal Harbour in Vancouver. While the actor is yet to confirm or deny the rumour, a throwback video has now gone viral wherein he expressed his desire to go on a date with the singer.
Diljit appeared on Koffee With Karan in 2018 with Badshah. During the rapid-fire round, Karan Johar asked him, "If you go on a date, you have to choose one of these girls." The options were Taylor or Katrina Kaif. In response to this, Diljit said, "Taylor Swift would be fine, sir. We'll talk about music."
The couch of Koffee With Karan is known for its strong manifestation powers. Making her debut on the show in 2018, Sara Ali Khan had said she would like to date Kartik Aaryan. They went on to be in a relationship for a while before breaking up. Similarly, Katrina Kaif said she would look good with Vicky Kaushal and now, they're married. When Alia Bhatt was asked, "If your swayamvar were to take place today in Bollywood, name three men you would love to have a contest for you." She named Ranbir Kapoor first. The couple is married and has a daughter named Raha. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra also witnessed the magic of the couch.
Reacting to rumours of getting cosy with Taylor, Diljit tweeted on June 7, "Yaar Privacy Naam Di v Koi Cheez Hundi Aa." The tweet no longer exists.
