The highly-awaited trailer of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush has been unveiled today. Helmed by Om Raut, the film tells the tale of Lord Shri Ram and Goddess Sita as written in the Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas as Raghav aka Lord Ram, Kriti as Janaki aks Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh aka Ravana and Devdutta Nage as Bajrang aka Hanuman.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of the epic battle as well as the timeless love story of Ram and Sita. It also shows the well-known tales of Hanuman lifting the mountain in search for Sanjeevani booti and Shabari offering bitten plums to Lord Ram.

The film carries the virtues of Lord Rama i.e Dharma, righteousness, courage, sacrifice and the triumph of good over evil. Before its theatrical release, the movie will have its world premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
Adipurush is slated to hit the screens in 3D on June 16, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
