19-year-old Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan’s Kota was named Miss India 2023 on Saturday. The prestigious beauty pageant was held at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur. Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday performed at the grand ceremony whereas Bhumi Pednekar and Maniesh Paul were the hosts. Neha Dhupia, Laishram Sarita Devi, Terence Lewis, Harshavardhan Kulkarni, Rocky Star and Namrata Joshipura were the judges.
Delhi's Shreya Poonja and Manipur's Thounaojam Strela Luwang are the first and second runners-up at the ceremony. After the Miss India gala came to an end, Kartik, Ananya and Bhumi posed with the three ladies on the stage. Kartik shared a picture and wrote, "Honoured to be in the beautiful company of the winners of Miss India 2023!! Congratulations @nandiniguptaa13 @shreya.poonja @strelaluwang and all the participants as well."
Nandini will now represent India on the Miss World stage.
