Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad made their wedding celebration a grand yet intimate affair. After a court marriage in February, the newlyweds called for a celebration in Delhi earlier this week. Pre-wedding ceremonies like Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet were held before the intimate wedding at the actress' maternal grandmother's residence. On Monday, Swara and Fahad got married in the presence of family members and close friends.
Swara made for a stunning Telugu bride. She wore a red Banarasi silk saree with golden motifs. The actress completed her look with traditional temple jewellery, including a neckpiece, matching earrings, a nath and a matha patti along with red bangles. She chose to go with a simple bun hairdo, kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lipstick and a bindi.
Swara's Haldi ceremony was held on Sunday followed by Mehendi and Sangeet. All the rituals took place at her nani's residence. Videos from the pre-wedding festivities went viral on social media after the actress shared them on her Instagram page.
Swara, a renowned actress, got married to Samajwadi Party’s state youth president Fahad on February 16 in court under The Special Marriage Act. The special title for their wedding was Swaad Anusaar.
