Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt entered the phase of parenthood last year with the arrival of their daughter named Raha. While the actress has often spoken about her child being her first priority when she resumes work, the doting daddy has shared his feelings about embracing fatherhood. During a promotional round for his upcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, he recalled the moment Raha was born and how her birth changed him. At an event, Ranbir called being Raha's father the 'best feeling in the world'.
"Mujhe laga abhi aadi life toh ho gayi he toh abhi aur kya hoga, you know... shaadi bhi ho gayi he, I love my wife and all of that. But I think the moment my child was born, Raha was born, it opens a different emotion... a different ‘chakra’ in your body. You know, I have never felt like this ever in my life. And it is pure joy, you know I just want to be at home, I just want to be with her... mujhe kaam nahi karna, kuch nahi karna. But aisa kar nahi sakta... but my feeling is just... I can't explain it! It's the best feeling in the world!" Ranbir told.
Ranbir, who was promoting the film on Valentine's Day, wished Alia and Raha at an event. He said, "Happy Valentine's Day to all of you guys. Sabse pehle, I would like to wish my two loves a Happy Valentine's Day - my wife Alia and my beautiful daughter Raha. I love you girls and I miss you."
At an event earlier this month, Alia spoke about motherhood, her work commitments, changing priorities and returning to work after a maternity break. She said, "My number one priority in my life right now is my daughter who I love deeply. But the next love, maybe not next, next to next love or my first love you can say is also movies and cinema and working. Toh main koshish karungi. Shayad it will be quality over quantity jo buri baat nahi hai."
Raha was born to Alia and Ranbir on November 6, 2022. The new parents in town will not be sharing her pictures anytime soon.
