On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, the makers of the much-anticipated sci-fi film Project K took to social media handles to announce that the film will release on January 12, 2024. The film is directed by National award-winning director Nag Ashwin and stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani amongst others.

Vyjayanthi Movies, the makers of the film, wrote, "-- ! # Happy Mahashivratri. #Prabhas @SrBachchan @deepikapadukone @nagashwin7 @VyjayanthiFilms" The makers announced the release date with a new poster.

Project K is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in two languages i.e Hindi and Telugu across various locations. The film will also marks Deepika Padukone’s debut in the Telugu film market.

In recent months, the makers of the film have released intriguing posters and BTS videos that are piquing fans' interest in the project.
