Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are all set to tie the knot today around 4 pm in Khandala. The wedding will take place at Mana and Suniel Shetty's farmhouse with limited guests in attendance. Last evening, the families hosted a sangeet ceremony. While paparazzi weren't allowed to enter the venue, popular Bollywood songs were heard from a distance.
According to viral videos, songs like Besharam Rang, Humma Humma and Jumma Chumma were among the many Bollywood songs played at the sangeet. Athiya's superstar father Suniel's chartbuster Jhanjariya was also included. Apart from that, songs like Dekha Jo Tujhe Yaar and Aaj Ki Party were heard.
Arjun Kapoor and his sister Anshula Kapoor, Tiger Shroff’s sister Krishna Shroff and renowned photographer Rohan Shreshta were seen arriving at the venue for Athiya & Rahul's wedding festivities last evening.
On Sunday, Suniel interacted with a group of paparazzi outside his Khandala farmhouse. He promised that Athiya and Rahul will pose for pictures after the wedding. He said, "Aa rahe hain hum log. Kal unko leke aata hoon, bachchon ko." He further thanked them for showering love on the couple and the family.
Athiya is an actress who made her debut with Hero in 2015. She starred in Mubarakan too. She hasn't announced her next film after Motichoor Chaknachoor in 2019. Rahul is the vice-captain of the Indian national cricket team.
