Salman Khan celebrated his birthday on Tuesday. The superstar turned 57. Fans from different corners of the city flocked to catch a glimpse of their on-screen idol and gathered outside his Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartments. Keeping up with his annual ritual, Salman stepped out and greeted them. 

The superstar was seen waving at his fans from the balcony of his residence. Dressed in a casual T-shirt and pants, Salman showered love on them. He also shared a picture on his Instagram to thank his fans for their love and support.

However, Salman's birthday celebration got ugly when thousands of fans went out of control. When the crowd saw Salman and his father Salim Khan, the police had to intervene as the situation started getting unmanageable. In order to maintain law and order, they had to do lathicharge on fans to push them behind.
