Deepika Padukone became the first Indian to unveil the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy during the final match between Lionel Messi-led Argentina and Hugo Lloris-led France. She unveiled the prestigious Jules Rimet Trophy on Sunday in Qatar.
For the pre-match ceremony, Deepika wore a Louis Vuitton outfit. She was dressed in a white shirt, a brown jacket, and a black belt. The actress completed her look with a black skirt. During the finals, she walked in with FIFA legend and former Spanish Professional Footballer, Iker Casillas Fernandez.

Workwise, Deepika will be seen essaying the lead role in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The release date of the spy thriller is January 25, 2023. As per reports, she is playing a special agent in the YRF-produced film.
Deepika has a special dance number in Cirkus, starring her husband Ranveer Singh in the lead. It is releasing on December 23.
