Anil Kapoor and wife Sunita Kapoor are on cloud nine ever since they became grandparents to their first grandchild, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. Now, daughter Sonam Kapoor has revealed how the new grandparents went all out to welcome the little one. Sonam revealed how the new grandparents got elegant customized thali and utensils to celebrate Vayu’s birth.
Sonam took to her Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of the gifts. On the other hand, sharing the pictures on Instagram, the brand explained the significance of the utensils along with the blue colour and wrote, “The Vayu tattva in Indian philosophy is symbolised by a blue circle lovingly chosen by the proud grandparents @kapoor.sunita and Anil Kapoor @anilskapoor to announce the arrival of their first grandchild Vayu Kapoor Ahuja."
Sunita and Rhea Kapoor reacted to the post and dropped heart emojis.
Sonam and Anand Ahuja welcomed their newborn son on August 20, 2022 and named him Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. Explaining the significance of his name, the couple wrote, “In Hindu scriptures, Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deities of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu. He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerisingly beautiful. Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family."
