After being brutally trolled for romancing Karan Kundrra and Mika Singh in videos, child actor Riva Arora and her mother issue clarification on allegations of grooming

Days after collaborating with Karan Kundrra and now with Mika Singh, child actor and social media influencer Riva Arora along with her mother Nisha Arora are facing the heat from netizens and this time it is not without any cause. Netizens are irked by her videos in which she is seen romancing 38-year-old Karan Kundrra and 45-year-old Mika Singh. Riva received tremendous backlash for her videos and pictures on social media which showed her much older than her real age which the netizens claim to be 12 years. However, now her mother Nisha and Riva have spoken against the brutal trolling and revealed that the girl is not 12 years-old but studies in Class X and has been working in the industry for the past 13 years.

Social media users trolled Riva for her provocative videos and questioned her parents’ parenting saying that they are sexualizing and grooming the young girl. One of the comments read, “You’re a beautiful young lady but your mother should really be ashamed of herself. Most of these commenters should be in jail if they’re calling CHILDREN sexy. Be a kid as long as you can. This isn’t the way to do thing.” They also expressed concern over Riva’s health and claimed that her parents used steroids on her to make her look 18 years instead of 12. They claimed that her case is of artificial precocious puberty and she has used injections and surgeries to appear much older than her actual age.

Another netizen wrote, “You are very beautiful but still a child so you should enjoy your childhood rather than acting or dancing in songs like this. It is not appropriate for children under 16. You are an amazing actress and we are looking forward to you". “YOU’RE A KID! I hate your parents for robbing your childhood like this," a third comment read. “Ok. Wait! This is pathetic, in fact, all her posts are. At least let her turn 18. What are her parents doing? Also, she is just grooving that’s not talent. Excuse me let her age first," one of the comments read.

Although Riva and her mother Nisha kept mum but now the latter has spoken against the trolling to an online portal. She said, “It’s unfortunate to see renowned publications are spreading false information about a young girl without any verifications. My daughter is currently in the 10th grade. She has been working in the industry for more than 13 years and has achieved everything with utmost integrity and perseverance."
