Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, under the banner Puri Connects, are producing the upcoming film, Liger. Starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Mike Tyson and others, the film will release in theatres on August 25. For a while, there were rumours that Puri and Charmme are in a relationship. While they never spoke about it publicly, a section of people was sure that they are more than just business partners.
When asked whether dating rumours affect her, Charmme told the media during an interaction for Liger, "I get very affected, I feel very bad. I feel hurt. I have spent days crying. I am a normal human being and I want people to see me as a producer, as a hard-working woman. If things like this come, I feel am I doing something wrong or do I have to do something more in life to convince people that I am working hard for my family. Ek din roti hu, bohot roti hu, aankhein saaf ho jaati hai. Papa says beta ro le, jitna rona hai ro le par dusre din rona sahi nahi hai. Duniya ek din bolegi Charmme aur Puri Jagannadh ka partnership is our inspiration. Yeh cheez sirf success se aayega aur mujhe abhi bhi bohot mehnat karni hai."

She further said, "Masala tadka toh sabko chahiye zindagi mein. Dusron ke gossip mein hum maza lete hai, humare gossip mein voh maza lete hai. Sabko tadka chahiye hota hai, karlo maze."
Charmme and Puri have worked together on films like Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap, Jyothi Lakshmi, Rogue, Paisa Vasool and many others.
