Director Rajkumar Santoshi confirms part 2 of Salman Khan-Aamir Khan's Andaz Apna Apna, says 'we'll think about star cast after script is ready'

The sequel of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan's Andaz Apna Apna (1994) has been in talks for quite some time now. In 2019, the writer of the cult film, Dilip Shukla, confirmed working on the script. Three years later, there was no update on the second part of the blockbuster.

Now, Rajkumar Santoshi, the director of Andaz Apna Apna, told an entertainment portal that the script is yet to be finalised. He added that after the story is locked, the team will think about the star cast. "I am writing the script, but I should be satisfied with the final story too. So when the script is ready, we will think about the star cast and everything. Meanwhile, I have other films in the pipeline too," he told.

Rajkumar, who was seen at Aamir's birthday party recently, said he is not sure whether the original leads will be retained in the sequel. "We haven’t thought about it yet, if the story requires it then we will see," the director shared.

Andaz Apna Apna also starred Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon.
