Former cricketer and Australian bowling legend Shane Warne passes away due to ‘suspected heart attack’ at 52

Former cricketer and Australian legendary spinner, Shane Warne passed away today at the age of 52 years. He died of a suspected heart attack.

Warne’s management confirmed in a statement to Australian media outlet Fox Sports about his demise. The statement said, “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived.”

Warne is widely regarded as one of the greatest bowlers to have played the game, having retired as Test cricket’s second most prolific wicket-taker.
