Akshay Kumar and Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar’s upcoming historical drama Prithviraj is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Today, Akshay took to social media to share character motion posters of the principle characters from the film. Akshay, Manushi, Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt feature in the posters. The film’s new theatrical date was also announced. Prithviraj will hit screens on June 10.
Introducing his titular character of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, Akshay wrote, “ , , I A role of a lifetime.”
Sharing Manushi’s character poster of Princess Sanyogita, the actor wrote, “ , , ! Princess Sanyogita weaved a tale of true love & compassion.”
Sanjay plays Kaka Kanha in the film and he was introduced with the caption, “ , , I Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’s trusted saamant - Kaka Kanha.”
Sonu plays court poet Chand Vardai in Prithviraj. His character’s description reads, “ , , ! Daring, perceptive and wise, he was Chand Vardai.”
Produced by Yash Raj Films, Prithviraj is directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi who previously helmed epic television seriel Chanakya – based on the life and times of the most influential political strategist of India and the multiple award-winning film, Pinjar. Prithviraj will release worldwide on June 10, 2022.
