It is the end of an era. Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar passed away this morning at the age of 92. India's nightingale was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital in the month of January after testing positive for COVID-19. After showing signs of recovery, she was taken off the ventilator. However, on Saturday, Lata Didi's health deteriorated and was once again put on the ventilator.

The team of doctors, who monitored Lata Didi's health, informed that the legendary singer suffered multi-organ failures. She faced difficulty in breathing due to chest congestion. The doctors reported that Lata Didi was not responding to the treatment for 24 hours.
