Kareena Kapoor Khan is reportedly all set to headline Sujoy Ghosh's screen adaptation of Keigo Higashino’s most acclaimed work, The Devotion of Suspect X. Ironically, the filmmaker had announced the film back in 2015 with Saif Ali Khan but the project did not go on floors. Now, Bebo has take over the acting duties and will be seen sharing screenspace with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the film, according to a recent media report.
A source revealed, “Kareena met Sujoy several times to discuss the prep and her look in the film. The cast will soon begin workshops. If things go as planned, the team will head to a hill station in West Bengal next month, where the film will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.”

“The neighbour’s role is played by Jaideep. Sujoy has woven in a complex love story between the leads that adds a new dimension to the thriller,” added the source.
On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in Laal Singh Chadha opposite Aamir Khan. The film is the Hindi adaptation of the iconic Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump.
