According to an entertainment portal's report, Jacqueline's mother was rushed to a hospital In Bahrain immediately after she got the stroke. Jacqueline, who is a Sri Lankan national, moved to India for work. Her parents are currently residing in Bahrain. Amid the pandemic, the actress spoke about how desperately her family members wanted her to move to Bahrain or Sri Lanka. She told a leading daily, "My friends from Sri Lanka and my parents, who live in Bahrain, watch the news and panic when they see the situation in India. My parents desperately want me to live with them in Bahrain… even my uncles and cousins in Sri Lanka are asking me to come and stay with them. However, I am pretty intent on staying put here and continuing the work I am doing."
