Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the country's top actresses, has signed her first international film. She will be playing one of the key roles in Arrangements of Love, directed by BAFTA-winning Welsh director Philip John. The film is expected to go on floors in August 2022.
Arrangements of Love is about a Welsh-Indian man who is on his quest to find his estranged father with an impromptu visit to his homeland. Samantha has been roped in to play the role of a strong-minded person, who runs her own detective agency and becomes part of the search. As per an international publication's report, she will be playing a progressive bisexual Tamil woman with traditional parents, who want to marry her in an arranged set-up. While she desires to please her parents, she also wants the power to make her own life choices.

Arrangements of Love will be bankrolled by Sunitha Tati’s Guru Films. Samantha and Sunitha had collaborated previously on Oh! Baby (2019). Samir Sarkar, of Singapore’s Magic Hour Films, is the executive producer. Co-written by Philip and Nimmi Harasgam, the film will be shot in India and Wales.
