Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Gill, Sonam Bajwa and Shinda Grewal's rom-com Honsla Rakh will release in theatres this Friday. The audience is very much excited to watch Shehnaaz as Diljit's on-screen wife in her first big film after Bigg Boss 13. Fans of the actress are eagerly waiting for Honsla Rakh to release in theatres. With just a few days to go, Diljit spoke about Shehnaaz in an interview with an entertainment portal.
The actor-singer revealed that the makers weren't sure whether Shehnaaz will be able to play the layered role. He was quick to add that the actress proved everyone wrong by working hard. "Shehnaaz has worked really hard for the film because there are many layers of her in it. I remember that when we were casting her, everybody was doubting whether she will be able to (play) the role as she has her own nature and charm. So, she has worked really hard and the audience will get to see a full package of her including humour, drama and emotions," Diljit told.
After a month-long break, Shehnaaz reunited with Diljit and Sonam for Honsla Rakh's press conference. She stayed away from the limelight after the untimely demise of her rumoured boyfriend Sidharth Shukla. The actress is reportedly staying with the actor's mother in Mumbai.
Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Honsla Rakh is produced by Thind Motion Films along with Story Time Productions. The film will release on October 15, 2021.
