Bigg Boss OTT contestant Urfi Javed, who managed to be inside Karan johar's reality show just for a week, was mercilessly trolled as she made an appearance at the Mumbai airport recently in badly styled clothes. Making a fashion faux pas, Urfi arrived wearing denim jeans paired up with a pink bra and cropped denim jacket. Her outfit soon became the joke of the day and netizens started a meme fest online.
However, her appearance took another turn when soon she was related to veteran lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar. Urfi was claimed to be Javed's granddaughter by many pages on social media. However, Shabana Azmi was quick enough to clarify. Reacting to a news article on Twitter that read, "#UrfiJaved Falsely Claimed to Be #JavedAkhtar-#ShabanaAzmi's Granddaughter on Twitter, After Her Pictures Wearing Denim Jacket & Bra Went Viral", Shabana Azmi replied, "Urfi Javed is not related to us in any way"

The rumours started after Urfi exited the Bigg Boss OTT house and was photographed at the Mumbai airport a few days ago. Speaking about the rumours, Urfi told a portal, “It’s really funny that people are connecting me with Javed (Akhtar) because of my last name."
For the unversed, Urfi Javed made headlines when she entered Bigg Boss OTT. However, she was the first contestant to be evicted from the Bigg Boss OTT house.
