Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar contacted Jacqueline Fernandez via caller ID spoofing, claim ED sources: Reports

On Monday, Jacqueline Fernandez recorded her statement as a witness in an alleged multi-crore extortion racket operated by conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The actress was interrogated for 5 hours in New Delhi by the Enforcement Directorate. Now, according to the latest development, an ED officer told a new portal that Sukesh would contact Jacqueline via caller ID spoofing from Tihar jail. Reportedly, Sukesh didn't reveal his real identity and would talk to the actress by portraying himself as a renowned personality.

A source close to the development told the portal, "When Jacqueline started believing Sukesh, the conman also started sending her expensive flowers and chocolates as a gift." As per the report, the ED officials got their hands on over two dozen call records of Sukesh and on that basis, they identified the fraud with Jacqueline. Reportedly, another popular Bollywood actress became the conman's target.

According to the report, Sukesh has over 20 other cases of extortion against him and it is believed that he operated a racket from inside his jail cell.

Jacqueline is yet to issue a statement regarding the matter.
