The Mumbai Police on Friday went into a tizzy when they received an anonymous call from a person who claimed bombs had been placed in four crucial places in the city. Cops received the anonymous phone call around 8.53pm on the emergency 100 phone number. The caller claimed that four bombs have been placed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Dadar, and Byculla railway stations, as well as at Amitabh’s bungalow. The police soon came into action and launched an operation to trace the caller. When he was eventually reached, he rebuffed the claims and said that he only relayed information that he had and switched off his cell phone. The police did an extensive search but could not find any evidence of a terrorist activity. However, they stayed on alert. The call was finally labeled as a hoax and a prank call.

Nushratt Bharuchha was rushed to hospital today from Luv Ranjan’s film sets after she suffered from vertigo and her blood pressure dropped to 65/55. Although she isn’t hospitalized she has been asked to take rest for minimum 15 days. In a recent interaction with a portal, Nushratt confirmed that she was diagnosed with vertigo and had taken leave to recuperate but after three weeks of shooting her health deteriorated and had to be wheeled into the Hinduja Hospital. The actress said, “I thought I would be okay in a day or so but the next day was equally bad. I reported on the set but a few minutes later, it all went spiralling downward. I could not do anything. They decided to rush me to Hinduja Hospital (Mumbai) and when I reached there, I was still worse. I needed a wheelchair to be taken upstairs. My blood pressure by then had dropped to 65/55. By then, Mom and Dad had arrived at the hospital. The next 6-7 days were very bad. I did not get hospitalised; I am taking medicines at home. A full check-up has been done and I am okay. I have taken leave for about 7 days more from today. The doctor has advised 15 days of complete rest.”
