Aamir Khan, his former wife Kiran Rao, Naga Chaitanya and the rest of the Laal Singh Chaddha team are busy shooting for extensive war sequences in Ladakh currently. While the shoot is going on in full swing, Aamir, Kiran and others are not missing out on their leisure time. Amid a hectic schedule, Aamir and his former wife Kiran decided to spend some time with the locals in Ladakh.
In a video that surfaced on social media, Aamir and Kiran are seen dancing together with locals in a village in Ladakh. The former couple were dressed in traditional Ladakhi outfits. Aamir wore a red outfit and teamed it with a purple hat. Kiran wore a dark pink dress and a hat. A local villager was guiding them.
After 15 years of marriage, Aamir and Kiran announced their divorce on July 3. In a joint statement, they informed that they'll continue to co-parent their son, Azad, and work on films too. They mentioned in their statement, "We would like to begin a new chapter in our lives - no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other. We began a planned separation some time ago, and now feel comfortable to formalise this arrangement, of living separately yet sharing our lives the way an extended family does. We remain devoted parents to our son Azad, who we will nurture and raise together. We will also continue to work as collaborators on films, Paani Foundation, and other projects that we feel passionate about."
Aamir is producing Laal Singh Chaddha with Kiran. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni. Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Manav Vij.
