Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has been discharged from hospital on Wednesday morning, where he was undergoing treatment for pneumonia. The actor was diagnosed with the ailment last month and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Naseeruddin’s son Vivaan Shah took to Instagram stories to post photos featuring the actor and his wife Ratna Pathak Shah and give a health update about the thespian. In the first photo, Naseeruddin Shah can be seen standing by the side of his bed in an orange T-shirt and white track pants. "Back home," Vivaan captained the photo along with a heart and folded hands emoji.
In the second photo, Naseeruddin can be seen conversing on his phone while his wife is sitting on the bed engaged in some work. Vivaan captioned the image and wrote, “He just got discharged today morning.”
The veteran actor was admitted to the Khar-based P D Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre, a non-COVID-19 facility, last Tuesday.
