On April 7 this year, PeepingMoon.com exclusively informed its readers that Hansal Mehta is directing a film with Paresh Rawal's son Aditya Rawal. The said film will be produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar. Three months later, Hansal has finally confirmed the same and made an announcement on his Twitter account.
Hansal informed his followers that he will be launching Zahan Kapoor in the world of cinema along with Aditya. The title of the film is yet to be disclosed. On Twitter, Hansal wrote, "We are proud to present Zahan Kapoor and Aditya Rawal in my new film. This is a very special film for all of us." As per our sources, the film will be a commercial thriller. It is said to be based on a true bomb blast.

For the unversed, Zahan is the grandson of Shashi Kapoor and son of Kunal Kapoor and Sheena Sippy. He is the cousin of actors like Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Aditya, the son of Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat, made his acting debut in ZEE5's film, Bamfaad (2020).
Hansal and Anubhav, who have been friends for over three decades, are collaborating for the first time.
