Alaya F signs her second film, to star in the Hindi remake of Shraddha Srinath's U-Turn; Ekta Kapoor to produce

Alaya F made a confident debut opposite Saif Ali Khan and Tabu in Jawaani Jaaneman (2020). The daughter of Pooja Bedi and granddaughter of Kabir Bedi, Alaya made everyone sit up and take notice of her work. Now, after a long gap, the young actress has finally signed her second film. Alaya has been roped in for the Hindi remake of the Kannada film, U-Turn (2016).

The Hindi remake of U-Turn will be produced by Ekta Kapoor under Cult Movies, a newly launched division of Balaji Telefilms that promises to back new-age and edgy content. In a statement to a leading daily, Ekta told, "Alaya was fantastic in her debut film. There’s a self-assured yet vulnerable quality to her that I believe can connect with audiences. U-Turn takes you on a ride with twists and turns galore, and provides edge-of-the-seat excitement."
