Actress Yami Gautam announced on Friday that she has tied the knot with Uri director Aditya Dhar in a private ceremony. The wedding took place on Friday. Yami shared a picture from their wedding venue and said they were both private people and preferred to get married in presence of family and close friends. Soon after, speculations of the couple's love story started.
When asked if the two knew each other before their URI days, a source informed a leading daily, "Not really. But, sparks flew on the sets of 'Uri' almost from Day 1. They might still not accept that they were in love from 'Uri' days but the fact remains that they don't like to indulge in any PDA, which is exactly why nobody from the 'Uri' unit came to know about their feelings for each other."

Aditya made his directorial debut with the blockbuster Uri, which starred Yami along with Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.
"Aditya’s passion about the film is infectious and the amount of extensive research he has done is amazing. I am really thrilled to be part of this film," Yami had said in a statement at the time.
