Virat Kohli, Riteish-Genelia Deshmukh and Sonakshi Sinha take the first jab of Covid-19 vaccine

The second wave of coronavirus has got the entire country in its grip. However, the medical staff and government are trying their best to curtail the spread. With the Covid-19 vaccine now available for people above 18 years of age several celebs have taken the first jab now. Virat Kohli, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh and Sonakshi Sinha took the first dose of coronavirus vaccine.

Virat Kohli takes the first jab of covid-19 vaccine

Virat took to his Instagram story to share a picture of him getting vaccinated against the coronavirus. The India captain also urged others to get inoculated as soon as possible. “Vaccinate as soon as you can please. Stay safe,” Kohli wrote on his Instagram story.

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh get inoculated

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh on Monday became the latest celebrity to get vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19 virus. Announcing the news Riteish shared an Instagram post along with the caption, "Get Vaccinated!!! Let's fight this monster together.... #vaccinationdone #vaccination." Along with it he also shared a photo of him getting the jab.

Genelia also shared a photo of her getting vaccinated on her Instagram handle along with the same caption, "Get Vaccinated!!! Let's fight this monster together.... #vaccinationdone #vaccination."

Sonakshi, who has been urging everyone to stay at home amid the pandemic, joined others in getting her vaccine. Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress shared a photo in which she is seen bravely taking her vaccine shot. Sharing the photo, she wrote, "Vaccine manjhe #Victory!!!”
