For more than a year, India is battling with COVID-19. Now, the second wave, which is deadlier than the first, has caused havoc. From a shortage of hospital beds to less supply of oxygen and medicines, the country is in a dire situation. Amid this, Randeep Hooda has teamed up with NGO Khalsa Aid to provide oxygen concentrators to the needful people. The NGO has an aim to provide 700 concentrators to people who are fighting against the deadly virus. Randeep took to his social media, to inform his fans about this noble initiative and request them to donate.
Earlier also, Randeep had collaborated with Khalsa Aid, providing food in floods affected areas of Kerela, drought-affected areas of Maharashtra, and he has also been a part of the beach cleanup initiative.
On the other hand, Vikrant Massey, on social media, is spread awareness about an emotional support service that people suffering from Covid-19 can use. The service sponsored by Citta India will be available to everyone who has been affected by this terrible outbreak of the Coronavirus, which has destroyed families altogether.
To create awareness among people, Vikrant shared a post with the caption, “@cittaindia Emotional Support Services For COVID positive patients sponsored by Citta. She has tied up with several NGOs that cater to the different needs in our society to begin with. Now, when the world needs it more than ever before, the actress has set up a platform to provide relief and help to those who need it. With an NGO called the Roti Bank, Jacqueline will be providing 1 Lakh Meals this month. Partnering with the Feline foundation the actress has taken initiative to help stray animals. Additionally, the actress will also be distributing masks and sanitizers to front line workers who continue to work relentlessly, the Mumbai Police Force.

Stand-up comic and actor Vir Das announced on Monday that he has raised about Rs 7 lakh for charity, apart from entertaining 200 doctors and nurses over the weekend. "Very happy to announce we raised about 7 lakhs for both our charities, and also made 200 doctors and nurses laugh this weekend. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets. We will make sure the money gets to those who need it. #VirDasAtHome," Vir tweeted.
Last month, he had shared on the micro-blogging website that he was hosting a charity show for doctors and nurses.
