Shooter Dadi-Chandro Tomar passes away after being admitted to hospital for COVID-19 with Bhumi Pednekar's help

For over 1 year, the entire country is battling COVID-19. After flattening the curve in the latter half of 2020, India is currently witnessing the second wave of COVID-19. As the situation in the country is grim, we lost a renowned shooter-Chandro Tomar. Better known as Shooter Dadi, Chandro had contracted COVID-19 recently. 

She was taken to the hospital with the help of actress Bhumi Pednekar who played her part in the Bollywood film Saand Ki Aankh. Taapsee Pannu, who played the role of Prakashi in Saand Ki Aankh, offered condolence.

Chandro, 89, took part in several competitions along with her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar and were known to be the oldest female sharpshooters in the world.
