Kareena Kapoor Khan opens up about chat with Taimur about COVID-19, states the importance of vaccination with a Tom & Jerry reference

The Government of India has announced that all above the age of 18 will be eligible to take the COVID-19 vaccine after May 1. The registration for the same has started on April 28 and Bollywood celebrities are appealing to people to take the vaccine without further delay. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is a mother of two, is constantly reminding her fans to avail the facility to fight COVID-19. Now, the actress, in a video on Instagram, explained how important it is to take both the vaccine doses.

Kareena, sharing a Tom & Jerry snippet, revealed that she and Saif Ali Khan spoke to their elder son Taimur Ali Khan about why all adults need to be vaccinated. "We don’t realise that our kids are also absorbing what’s going on and they are scared too. We were talking to Tim to try and explain why all the adults need to be vaccinated and I think this sums it up pretty well. It’s really that simple. But like we explain to our kids, we too need to be patient and help everyone who is trying to help us — medics, pharma, authorities and the millions of volunteers — please register and wait for your turn," she captioned the video.
