IPL 2021: RCB captain Virat Kohli scores his first half-century of season; blows kisses at wife Anushka Sharma, dedicates achievement to daughter Vamika

Virat Kohli is on cloud nine and why not. The Indian skipper's Indian Premier League team, Royal Challengers Bangalore is on a winning spree. The team won the match played against Rajasthan Royals by 10 wickets on Thursday. RCB has played 4 matches till now and has won each one of them. Virat scored 72 from 47 balls and became the highest run-scorer in the history of IPL by completing 6,000 runs. The Indian cricket team captain scored his first 50 in IPL this season. 

Virat, after completing 50 runs, turned towards the pavilion where his actress wife Anushka Sharma was seated. The doting husband blew kisses at Anushka and made a hand gesture of cradling a baby. By doing so, Virat dedicated his mind-blowing feat to 3 months old daughter Vamika. In a recent interview, Virat opened up about how parenthood has changed him. He said, "It’s been life changing. It has been a connect which has been different from anything that both of us have experienced before. Just to see your child smile, it can’t be put in words. I can’t express how it feels from within. It’s just been such a blessed and amazing period."

Virat and Anushka welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika, on January 11, 2021.
