Amitabh Bachchan to undergo surgery for an unknown medical condition, fans pray for his speedy recovery

Amitabh Bachchan is an active social media user. He keeps his fans updated about his film shoots, thoughts, personal life and much more. He uses his blog to interact with fans and share stories that aren't known to many. However, this morning, the veteran actor informed his fans about a surgery he will be undergoing soon but didn't mention the 'medical condition'. He didn't even mention whether the medical procedure is complete for now.  

On his blog this morning, the actor wrote, "medical condition .. surgery .. can’t write." Soon, fans of Mr. Bachchan wished him a speedy recovery and prayed for his well-being. On Twitter, he wrote a cryptic message that read, "Kuch zaroorat se zada bad gaya hai, kuch kaatne par sudharne waala hai, jeevan kaal ka kal yeh hai, kal hi pata chalega kaise rahe ve"

In July last year, Mr. Bachchan, his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan had tested positive for COVID-19. After almost a month, he got discharged from the hospital. 

Workwise, Mr. Bachchan is shooting for Mayday with Ajay Devgn, who is also the director. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Boman Irani. Mr. Bachchan will also be seen in Chehre with Emraan Hashmi and others. The film will release on April 30, 2021. His film, Jhund, directed by Nagraj Manjule will release in theatres on June 18, 2021.
