Acclaimed actor Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to her social media handle to share an emotional and heartfelt note about her late husband. She shared a picture of his grave as she remembered the actor on Valentine’s Day.
The post was captioned, “Nothing is forever except memories #farmhouse #missingyou''. Irrfan passed away last year on April 29 after battling neuroendocrine tumour for two years. It is a rare form of cancer and was diagnosed in early 2018. He went to London to seek treatment for the cancer and was treated for almost a year before coming back to India in February 2019.
Irrfan was honoured at the recently concluded International Film Festival of India (IFFI). His film Paan Singh Tomar was screened at the festival and Sutapa attended the event with her elder son Babil Khan. She gave an emotional speech on stage as she recalled fond memories of the legendary actor.
