In 2020, director Mohit Suri announced Ek Villain's sequel. The film stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in the lead. One of the much-awaited sequels, Ek Villain Returns promises to take the action a notch higher. Today, the makers shared an update. Ek Villain Returns will release on February 11, 2022, which is exactly a year from today.

Ek Villain, directed by Mohit in 2014, featured Shraddha Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead. Ek Villain Returns will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar.
