Tiger Shroff announced his upcoming film, Ganapath Part 1, on November 05, 2020. Since then, fans of the young action star are eager to watch the film unfold on the big screen. Now, after much speculation, the makers of Ganapath Part 1 revealed the name of the leading lady who will be romancing Tiger. She is none other than Kriti Sanon.
Kriti will play the role of Jassi in Ganapath. Sharing the motion poster, she wrote, "Meet JASSI !! Super Duper Excited for this one!! Teaming up once again with my very special @tigerjackieshroff ! Can't wait for the shoot to begin! Lets KILL it! " Kriti and Tiger are reuniting after 7 years. They made their debut together in Heropanti in 2014.
Talking about Ganapath, Kriti said, "I’m thrilled to reunite with Tiger after about 7years and also to be directed by Vikas in a space that is so new to me. I’ve been wanting to explore the genre of action for a while now and I’m super excited to do so on such a massive scale with Pooja Entertainment! Jackky is a very passionate producer and I’m glad to be starting my journey with them with such a cool character."
Director Vikas Bahl said, “Kriti not only has a riveting screen presence but she also has the persona of a superstar. She is truly ‘The Right One’ to star opposite Tiger as I am confident she will make a perfect action heroine. I am extremely excited and looking forward to working with the two wonderful artists.”

The action-thriller is presented by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment in association with Good Co. A Pooja Entertainment and Good Co. production. Directed by Vikas Bahl. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Vikas Bahl, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani, Ganapath will release in 2022. It will go on floors this year.
