Ranbir Kapoor, right now, has an interesting lineup of films. While he is awaiting the release of Brahmastra in which he features with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, the actor has stepped forward to sign a few more projects for 2021. One of them is Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming thriller. Reportedly titled Devil, the film will mark Ranbir's maiden collaboration with Sandeep, who directed the blockbuster Kabir Singh in 2019. Ranbir confirmed that he will be starting the next in 2021. Since then, fans are waiting to know which actress will be paired opposite the Bollywood heartthrob.
Now, according to an entertainment portal's report, Sara Ali Khan is in talks with the makers and has reportedly given her audition. A source close to the development told the portal, "Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known to be quite picky and particular about his casting. Even for Arjun Reddy’s remake, he was very sure who he sees playing the leading man in Bollywood even though some of the big names were running contenders. This time he teams up with Ranbir Kapoor and they want to make sure that they get the right female lead."

Workwise, Ranbir has signed Luv Ranjan's upcoming film with Shraddha Kapoor. The yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors in the first week of January. Speaking of Sara, she will be seen with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush in Aanand L. Rai's Atrangi Re.
